Ocean Freight Operations and Customer Service Executive Santry, Dublin 9 Permanent / Mon to Fri / 9am-5.30pm €35 - 40k DOE +bens Job Description: Our client provides bespoke forwarding for a multi-model freight, logistics and supply chain solutions for all types of cargo, working closely with its clients across Europe, Asia and the U.S. and are supported by their parent company with 71 offices in 23 countries.
Exports Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules.
Booking confirmations to customers.
Submitting VGM for shipments.
Submitting shipping instructions/ Sending details to shipping lines.
Monitoring and tracking shipments / Preparing SAD document (customs clearance).
Requesting telex release, Seaway Bill of lading, approving and requesting original bills of ladings.
Submitting VGM for shipments.
Maintaining an excellent repour with Customers, Haulers and shipping lines.
Imports Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules.
Booking updates to customers Completion of import documentation CHED P. Monitoring and tracking shipments / Preparing SAD document (customs clearance).
Dealing with Dept.
of Agriculture to veterinary clear product into the EU Organizing and communicating with transport for delivery of products to importers.
Maintaining an excellent report with Customers, Hauliers and shipping lines.
Requirements: 3 + years experience in Shipping and Logistics.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Word / Power Point.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to co - ordinate plan schedules.
Attention to detail in completing tasks in a proficient and timely manner.
