Our client is a moving company that specializes in International removals of Household goods and personal effects currently looking for a hands-on office employee who is open to the occasional assist in the warehouse.
Responsibilities: Handle incoming enquiries from private clients as well as international partner networks by both phone and email.
You will collect all necessary details of the upcoming move, build a relationship with the clients based on knowledge and trust and prepare a suitable offer for them Responsible for coordination of removals to make sure the customers moves go smoothly, efficiently and according to the wishes and needs of the customer all within the set budget.
As such you will be responsible for scheduling of the crew, arranging freight with our client's forwarders as well as services by international partner network Responsible for all administrative tasks of the move, including file management, preparing budgets and invoicing Contact with clients and partners from all over the world on a daily basis and get a little insight into many different cultures.
Assist clients from the first point of contact until they settled into their new home Job requirements: - Communicates in a professional, friendly and clear manner - Fluent in English (verbal and written) - Good administration skills required for keeping track of the individual moves - Good with numbers - Quickly switches between tasks and deals with unexpected situations - Thinks clearly and works efficiently under (time) pressure and in unexpected/ hectic situations.
Able to set boundaries when needed - Tackles problems immediately and is able to make quick decisions based on own assessments.
Controls a situation rather than waiting around - Can do Attitude and eager to learn Experience: Ideally you have a background in International moving and/or logistics.
However if you have moved internationally yourself and think you would be the ideal candidate to assist others like you, we also welcome you to apply Experience in file management, invoicing, preparing budgets Previous warehouse experience is beneficial Hours: Monday to Friday 9/9:30 am - 1/1:30pm Part-time with option to expand to full-time.
