Admin / Finance / Business Development / HROur client, an innovative and fast-growing start-up based in Galway, is seeking a Part-Time Office Administrator to join their team.
Working closely with the Chief of Staff, the successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of daily administrative tasks while gaining valuable insights into the growth and development of a start-up.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to the Following: Office Administration: Welcome and assist visitors, interview candidates, and suppliers.Manage diaries and coordinate schedules for internal and external meetings, interviews, staff meetings, and events.Handle emails and correspondence efficiently.Monitor and ensure timesheet compliance.Assist with onboarding new hires, including organizing onboarding documents, access cards, and equipment.Maintain and organize office common areas, ensuring adequate supplies of stationery and kitchen items.Act as the primary point of contact for office-related queries.Support the organization and coordination of office events.Facilities Management: Liaise with external contractors to address office-related issues.Coordinate with IT, cleaning, waste management, and building services as required.Job Requirements1–5 years of experience in an administrative role within a professional office setting.Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Qualification in a related field such as office management or events management would be helpful.Organized and capable of independently prioritizing tasks.Diligent and detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality and timely completion of tasks.Open and willing to engage positively with company culture, including giving and receiving constructive feedback.Communicative and clear in conveying messages and collaborating with others.Self-driven, resourceful, and independent, thriving on responsibility and ownership of tasks.Note: By applying for this position, you may also be considered by Pale Blue Dot Recruitment for other or future related vacancies.
