Oliver James have partnered with a leading Financial Services client based in Dublin who are hiring for a Senior Project Manager for a 6 month rolling contract engagement commencing in early January 2025!!
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in banking and payments to join our dynamic team.
This role requires expertise in managing complex projects within the financial sector, with a focus on payments systems, including SEPA and SWIFT.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the delivery of key projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
6 Month day rate Competitive rate on offer Flexible working conditions/growth & learning Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact banking and payments projects, ensuring adherence to scope, time-lines, and budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors, to ensure seamless project execution.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing timely updates and mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards, particularly in payments systems (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT).
Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the banking sector, with a focus on payments.
Deep understanding of payments systems, including SEPA, SWIFT, and related regulatory standards.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
