Onsite Service Engineer – Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry Location: Site based in the Cork area with travel to other client sites in Ireland when required Your Location: Living in the Cork area Do you want to work for a market leading manufacturer of cutting-edge automated pharmaceutical analysis systems who also specialise in servicing analytical equipment such as HPLC, UPLC, LC, GC, GCMS & LCMS?
Do you live in the Cork region or within circa 45 minutes with a full & valid Irish/EU driving licence and passport?
Are you already a Field Service Engineer with circa 2 years of experience servicing one or more of the above types of Chromatography/Mass Spec systems?
OR are you a Chemist, Scientist or QC Analyst with circa 3+ years of experience as a super user and troubleshooter of these types of equipment in a GMP environment?

The requirements for the Onsite Service Engineer – Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry role: * You could already be an experienced Field Service or Site Engineer with 2+ years of experience installing, validating, and servicing one or more of the following types of Chromatography and/or Mass Spec instruments: HPLC, UPLC, LC, GC, GCMS, LCMS etc * You could also be a Chemist, Scientist or QC Analyst with extensive experience (3+ years) as a super user and troubleshooter of Chromatography systems * Experience working in a GMP environment as either an Engineer or end user is a must * You will be educated in either a life science/chemistry or engineering subject * Must hold a full Irish/EU driving license & valid passport with the ability to travel in Ireland and abroad as required without restrictions * Experience of effective verbal communication skills in a customer facing or customer service environment, with excellent telephone manner The responsibilities of the Onsite Service Engineer – Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry role: * Deliver routine planned maintenance and breakdown support of a range of Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and other equipment such as laboratory balances and temperature mapping in line with my client's service plans * Refurbish and validate equipment for the refurbished instrument program in line with SOPs * Identify new customers or new market segments that could become long term accounts * Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to allow continuation of business and win incremental business * Perform onsite duties including, service, validation, repair, accurately and in a timely fashion * Complete and submit all paperwork to the admin team * Build and maintains relationship with existing and new customers * Promote the company's brand and range of services where applicable * Manage and be accountable for stock allocated to the service call * Provide remote support via phone and email to customers where requested * Maintain knowledge of the products and services Benefits: * Negotiable & Highly Competitive Base Salary DOE * Fully expensed company car (hire car provided during probation and once completed you can choose your own car) * Tax free daily allowance (€18 per day when in the field for up to 8 hours) * Pension - 5% employer contribution with a minimum 3% employee contribution after 3 months continuous employment * 25 days holidays + 8 bank holidays * Life Insurance (3x value of annual base salary) after 3 months continuous employment * Laptop & Phone
