WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE The Operational Excellence Manager role will lead, facilitate & support all continuous improvement activities being undertaken throughout the business.
Reporting to the site Operations Director, this leadership role will be responsible for the delivery of the site Operational Excellence programme, including the creation, development & implementation of OpEx standards & tools, as well as the facilitation & evolution of OpEx related forums to support site performance goals. As a skilled data analyst, the role will identify and drive operational process improvement initiatives in line with best practice OpEx methodologies through the ideation, ownership & facilitation of OpEx projects and continuous improvement activities.
The role involves a hands-on approach, working with cross functional teams, and applying project management techniques in driving a structured, data-driven approach to deliver site process improvements in such areas as operational productivity, yield enhancement, product quality, waste reduction & process flow optimisation.
The OpEx manager will act as coach & mentor to the site team members, ensuring best practice OpEx methodologies & their practical application, are embedded into the site culture.
