Role/Department The First line of Defense, Operational Resilience Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support the Operational Resiliency Program and is responsible for the oversight, reporting, and execution of operational resilience initiatives. The Operational Resilience Specialist will support resilience team leaders and wider business units in the delivery of key projects and provide guidance to other stakeholders. The key responsibilities of the role include: Collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and align Important Business Service Capabilities based on their statedic importance and impact Support business dependency oversight; monitoring of risks and vulnerabilities across all services. This will include the input into required Management Information reporting, investigation into areas of concern / issues, and the tracking of any required remediation Supports the review and oversight of compliance with the Operational Resilience Policy and Standard Ensure risks and issues are documented, tracked and reported in a timely manner Lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements Acts as a support for colleagues with less experience Monitor and analyze impact of new Products and Organizational change Skills/ Experience The successful candidate will benefit from having: Number of years of related experience in Operational Resilience Expert knowledge ofoperational resiliency includingdisaster/business recovery,business continuity management, 3rdparty vendor/outsourcing, corporate risk policies and standards Strong understanding of risk management practices including cyber security and how they apply in Financial Servicesorganizations including the impact of regulation on operational resiliency matters Strong understanding of data analytics and related tools Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to drive to execution Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance Thorough understanding and knowledge of resiliency regulations, jurisdictional requirements and guidelines for financial services organizations Experience of working in rapidly changing and ambiguous work environment Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functions to achieve measurable results Manages related teams, sets team priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectives Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
