Operational Risk Analyst

We are working on behalf of a prestigious and dynamic asset management company based in Dublin that is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Analyst to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the identification and assessment of operational risks across all material products, activities, processes, and systems.
Support the preparation of operational risk reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), ensuring timely escalation and appropriate remedial action.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of risk mitigation strategies, policies, and processes.
Assist in managing operational risk event responses, including root cause analysis and remediation tracking.
Oversee operational risks related to delegated and outsourced activities.
Support firm-wide projects aimed at enhancing operational risk management practices.
Governance Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and presentation of risk appetite frameworks to the Board.
Regularly report to senior stakeholders, including the CEO, Board of Directors, and CRO function.
Ensure compliance with group-wide regulatory and governance standards.
Skills & Experience Required: Bachelors/Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in risk management, preferably within an asset management or financial services context.
Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with UCITS regulations and operational risk industry best practices is advantageous.
