Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll oversee our warehouse and logistics teams, leading them to new heights. Responsibilities:Drive Operational Excellence: Take ownership of all operational processes, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency are at their peak.Shape Our Strategy: Be a key player in long-term planning, finding new ways to optimize our operations and expand our market presence.Lead and Inspire: Motivate and mentor your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and a positive learning environment.Innovate for Success: Identify opportunities for cost savings, service enhancements, and process improvements that will keep us ahead of the competition.Champion Communication: Ensure seamless communication within the Operations department and across the company, making sure everyone is aligned with our goals.Optimize Budgets: Analyse departmental budgets to maximize profitability without compromising quality.Adapt and Thrive: Stay agile, addressing shifting priorities and market changes with smart, proactive solutions.Keep Us Compliant: Uphold high safety and regulatory standards, including HACCP and fleet maintenance.Master Resource Planning: Oversee rostering, manpower planning, and collaborate with HR for recruitment, ensuring we're always ready to meet demand.Make Data-Driven Decisions: Provide monthly reports to procurement, analyse trends, and use insights to drive growth.Requirements:5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food distribution industry.Hold a Third level (Bachelors') Degree in either Business, Supply Chain, or a food related discipline.You have previous experience in the FMCG or similar industry.Have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, can foster strong and trusting relationships with suppliers and colleagues alike and are confident in collaborating with various departments and team members.Understand the importance of leadership and team building and demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.Enjoy problem solving and finding solutions.Have a full, clean drivers' licence.Have the legal right to work in Ireland and currently live in Ireland.Can commute to the office in Dublin daily for on-site work.Monday to Friday role with set hours of 0830-1700, with occasional out of hours calls.
All candidates must have valid EU work permit and currently reside within commuting distance of Dublin 11.
