Operations Manager Cavan Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Day Shift Attractive Salary + Package Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with our global client within the FMCG industry who are dedicated to delivering excellent high-quality products to customers.
With a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, they have established themselves as a key player in the market and as they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join the team in Cavan.
Reporting to the Site Manager you will be responsible for driving operational excellence of the operations function as measured by core metrics of safety, quality, performance & people management.
Key Duties Responsible for the production of high quality products that meet specifications and expectations of the customer and satisfy ROI/ UK / China regulations.Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records/reports to determine production requirementsConfer with BU Managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departmentsDevelops and drives personal growth opportunitiesManages teams absence and holidaysEstablishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations informationImplement and maintain 5S to company standardsFurther duties will be provided on job specification at application stage We are looking for Previous management experience within Food Manufacturing, ideally meat industry but not essentialOpen to strong Production Management experience keen to step up to Operations levelLean Six Sigma qualification would be advantageousWorking hours will be Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, 7am to 3.30pm.
