Operations Manager

We are working with an Irish company based in Dublin 24 who are seeking an Operations Manager to join their team. The role has come about due to an internal promotion.

The ideal candidate will have managerial, transport and stock experience. The Operations Manager is responsible for Warehouse, transport and merchandising.

Salary - €50,000 - €55,000 negotiable

Annual leave – 22 days

Fully on-site role

Duties & Responsibilities Implement and evaluate processes. Contribute to budgets and organisational plans. Identify quality control issues and suggest solutions. Implement strategies for various departments Assist in maintaining the company's legal compliance Hire and train staff. Fields of Operation Supply Chain: Direct stock control, production and distribution. They might oversee procurement to maintain the stock of production materials. Project management: Assign tasks, measure productivity and implement strategies to maximise the projects return on investment. Human resources:Design the staff procedures and oversee budgeting, hiring and professional relationships. Logistics: Manage shipping and order fulfilment operations. Evaluate and select cost-effective transportation services to ensure customer deliveries arrive on schedule. Skills & Attributes required Minimum 5 years in similar role involving logistics, stock control and purchasing.
