We are hiring an Orthopaedic Pathway Physiotherapist for a Private Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities To support the daily operations of the in-patient care and ward-based physical therapy program To provide excellent in-patient, pre-operative, and post-operative physical therapy services to patients while adhering to the SSC6 methodology.
When appropriate, referrals for programs, sports physicians, outpatient rehabilitation, and consultation with the referring consultant surgeon should be made.
To help keep track of the weekly patients receiving inpatient physical therapy appointments and compile this information into a monthly report.
To follow a schedule to provide a 7-day-per-week service.
Participate in the physiotherapy department's ongoing professional development program.
To oversee a stream lead while managing a workload of individual patients in an outpatient environment.
To support the execution of a service delivery audit on a designated topic of interest Requirements The equivalent of a bachelor's degree in science with honors.
MSc in Sports Science, Physiotherapy, or Strength and Conditioning.
Having further training in a clinical specialty field is beneficial.
Having prior experience providing services to and collaborating with a sports team would be helpful.
The candidate needs to be a CORU member.
