Financial Accountant (Qualified/Part Qualified) A well-established company in Dublin 15 is seeking to hire aFinancial Accountantto join their team!
This role is due to expansion, great growth and learning scope with the exciting new role.
This position will be responsible for executing core financial accounting activities on a monthly basis, including the preparation, recording and reconciliation of general ledger accounting records.
They will also be responsible for managing treasury activities such as working capital management and for supervising the billing and collections function and the accounts payable function and assisting with both the internal and external audits.
You will report directly to the Financial Controller, you will have 2 direct reports.
The client is seeking a candidate who has recently qualified or persuing their ACA/ACCA/CPA.
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin 15.
The client is seeking a candidate that wants to be part of a team and that can add value to the company Salary & Benefits: €60-65k Pension Healthcare Hybrid Car parking Canteen Team environment Great learning Responsibilities of Role: Manage the Billing and Collections team and the AP function on a day-to-day basis.
Manage Supplier Payment Run Prepare supplier reconciliations on a monthly basis Credit Card reconciliations.
Develop and manage strategies, operations, policies and budgets relating to working capital and treasury activities.
Manage the efficient utilization of cash and loans Interact with the business managers to ensure invoices are reviewed and approved Prepare and manage accurate billing information, including ensuring ERP customer data updates are applied, issuing customer invoices, receipts and bills and sending these to the customers Work with internal and external auditors VAT Accounting and Reporting Manage Corporate Tax Reporting Processing non-creditor payments Manage and process Intercompany transactions Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting.
Responding to all internal and external queries in a timely manner Support month-end close activities and prepare variance analysis reports.
Any other Ad hoc projects as requested by the Financial Controller Requirements For Role: 3+ years working in a Finance role Bachelors degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance.
