FP&A Analyst We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analystto join our dynamic Finance team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key role offering a diverse range of responsibilities and opportunities to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making within the business.
Location:Ennis, Co. Clare Salary: €60,000€70,000 Flexible Work Options:One day work from home once fully trained Key Responsibilities: Lead the annual budget, strategic plans, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Analyse financial performance, including project costs, revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, such as P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, with actionable insights and recommendations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to construction projects and company performance, providing variance analyses against budgets and forecasts.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and department heads to provide financial insights and support ongoing projects.
Assist in tendering processes with financial evaluations, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
Develop financial models and scenarios to support business planning, investment decisions, and project evaluations.
Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and revenue enhancements.
Monitor and manage financial risks associated with construction projects, recommending mitigation strategies where necessary.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial data and analysis.
Candidate Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, supported by a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) ideally achieved.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in Construction, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data analysis tools).
Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools is a strong advantage.
