About the Role: The firm is seeking a qualified accountant, or an experienced part-qualified accountant, to join its Outsourcing Team in a hybrid role, with a base in the Portlaoise office.
This position involves working with a range of clients, including domestic, foreign direct investment (FDI), and public sector organizations.
The role is full-time, though flexible working arrangements will be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of compliance clients, including preparing and reviewing sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements Preparing monthly management accounts Assisting clients with tax matters and general consulting issues Supporting the overall management of the client portfolio and providing ad-hoc assistance as required Assisting with the commercial management of the unit About the Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified accountant or experienced part-qualified accountant with at least three years of experience in a busy accounting environment Have strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Prior practice experience is preferred but not essential A full, clean Irish/International driver's license is desirable, as there may be some travel to client premises This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, global network with diverse and rewarding projects, along with room for professional growth.
