Paediatric Network Manager, Grade VIII Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this post is to provide management and leadership capability within CHI for the implementation and operationalisation of the Paediatric Network and Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs) aligned with the National Model of Care for Paediatric Healthcare Services (HSE, 2016).

Operating in accordance with the policies of CHI, the CHI Paediatric Network Manager works with the CHI Paediatric Network Clinical Lead and the HSE and regional and local paediatric units in the planning, design, development, implementation and management of the Paediatric Network and relevant Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs).

Essential Criteria: Qualifications and/or experience Have significant experience (minimum of 5 years), working in senior management role(s) that includes significant healthcare operations experience in the delivery of complex healthcare services, including across healthcare entities. Relevant third level qualification in healthcare management e.g.
a clinical qualification (including nursing and HSCP), a health service administration or healthcare management qualification. Have significant experience of engagement with service and clinical teams in planning and implementing service developments and improvements and / or the implementation of new pathways of care to transform healthcare services.
