Legacy Leisure are an arm of Parkwood that are contracted to operate a large portfolio of leisure facilities across the UK.
The Opportunity We now have an opportunity for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join the contract maintenance team at our Wales and South West region supporting sites in Cardiff, Bristol, North Somerset and Vale of Glamorgan.
In this role you will be expected to work to the highest standards, producing high quality work carrying out the redecoration of our leisure centres and managing the redecoration schedules to ensure properties are maintained in an excellent decorative condition.
We will provide all the necessary support for the post.
All travel and accommodation expenses will be paid by the company.
Ideally the candidate would need their own transport and all materials and equipment will be provided for you.
The candidate would ideally be based within 30 minute drive of Cardiff or Bristol, alternative locations will also be considered.
The role is a 40hr post but we are able to consider part time applicants as well as those who are looking for a full time work.
The Person The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria : You will be asked to work as part of the team as well as being able to take your own initiative and work individually.
This is a new role and we are looking for someone who has a great eye for attention to detail and who takes pride in their work.
Standard working hours would be Monday to Friday but it is important that you are flexible to work variable days or night shifts on occasion to suit the needs of our business and avoid unnecessary disruption to customers.
Experience of working in occupied properties with customers present.
At least one years experience as a Painter / Decorator.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with site teams and contract managers is important.
Full clean driving licence Basic computer literacy would be useful to aid your work planning and communication.
You must be confident with the public and happy to interact with our customers.
