Part 2 Architect

Details of the offer

As a Part 2 Architect, you will be joining an architectural practice based in Dublin City that, due to growth in project pipeline, is now seeking to add to their diverse team of Architects and Technologists. This practice has a strong team and is split into a number of project typologies. There are multiple roles available as they experience growth, and you can expect exposure to Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Commercial projects.
Your New Role As a Part 2 Architect, they are hoping to fill a junior-intermediate role. You will understand how to create planning applications that should go through successfully and also understand the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition from design stage to build. The role offers a collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to ensure you are up to date on all current construction methodologies. Overall, this role offers a refreshing environment that will give you autonomy but also any help you need to grow and thrive in your career.
Job Requirements For this role, you should hold an MSc in Architecture and have 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in Architectural practice as a minimum, and be able to demonstrate your experience on projects in Ireland. Candidates that have worked on large-scale Residential projects with interior design experience will be at a distinct advantage. You should be able to communicate your understanding of Irish building regulations and construction methodologies. Proficiency using BIM/Revit software is essential as this is the package used in the practice. Experience on projects including residential and commercial projects would be an advantage but not a necessity if your portfolio displays experience elsewhere. Site experience, conducting site meetings, and meeting with stakeholders will also be a distinct advantage.
Our client is based in Dublin City Centre, with ease of transport for commuting and plenty of access points via bus or other forms. They will support your education and development in your career. There is a great work environment with friendly directors and associates to assist when needed. Salary is ultimately negotiable but will be competitive depending on the level of experience you bring to the team. This is a great chance to have a real effect on decisions made being a medium-sized practice with more opportunity for growth and development.
