Description: Marsh Management Solutions is seeking candidates for the following position based in our Dublin office:Part-Qualified Accountant– PermanentWhat can you expect:This permanent role is based in Dublin but allows for some flexibility in location and a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and the other two based from home.
The team is responsible for management of captive (re)insurance undertakings and Section 110 companies.
The Account Administrator reports to an Account Manager and will be part of a wider team of 25+ colleagues.What you will be rewarded with:Our employees enjoy excellent benefits such as:Competitive salary with annual reviewUp to 12% pension contributionHealthcare coverStudy SupportFlexible workingSports & Social clubPaid annual leave and ability to purchase additional leave daysTravel ticket/bike to work/dental are optional35 hour working weekWe will rely on you to:Booking and maintenance of all accounting records on GCMS and other accounting systems in use by clients;Preparation of monthly management accounts from original books of entry through to trial balance together with draft executive summary and all relevant schedules for review by the account manager;Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows, where relevant;Bank account maintenance including ensuring completeness of statement records/advice slips and full account reconciliation;Monitoring of time deposits and rollovers;Monitoring of current/service accounts to ensure sufficient retention of funds to meet disbursements;Tracking of cash lodgements and reconciliation to premium billings, debtor/creditor control account reconciliations;Assistance, when requested, in the premium billing and premium collection process;Preparation and booking of general disbursement requests and banking instruction letters for account service fees.
Preparation and booking of banking instructions for underwriting disbursement requests;Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements, where relevant;Dealing with, in conjunction with the account manager, the client auditors and responding to requests for additional information i.e.
backup schedules/workings etc.
;Preparation and processing of bank letters, solicitors' letters, directors confirmations, letters of engagement, and management letters;Preparation of the Central Bank of Ireland quarterly and annual returns where relevant;Assistance in monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;Assistance in the preparation of Board Books for Directors Board Meetings and preparation of annual returns, where relevant;Assistance in preparation of any other statutory filing document required for submission by the client company;Maintenance of Company Secretarial Information Files for each client company;Assistance in the preparation and submission of the annual corporation tax returns, including tax settlements.
Assistance in the preparation and submission of VAT and PAYE/PRSI returns;Assistance in the completion of insurance premium tax returns;As a member of the account management team, develop excellent working relationships with other team members and clients;Ensure that the Account Manager is kept informed of all relevant issues relating to client account;Ensure that all issues are dealt with in a timely manner and all timetables and deadlines are adhered to;Keep an accurate record of work done and record same on GCMS;What you will need to have:Part Qualified Accountant with 2+ years of relevant experience (bookkeeping, account preparation, trial balance, P&L, balance sheets etc.
)Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with senior stakeholders i.e.
