What is the opportunity? This role is an exciting, meaningful and rewarding opportunity to gain a wealth of experience across a number of different accounting areas. The role will also allow the successful candidate to engage with different stakeholders in the business, including finance and accounting, business change, IT, actuarial and communications, building relationships.

In this role, you will: Quarterly return of Solvency II regulatory reporting to central bank which includes the compilation of workings for QRTs & NSTs, along with Solvency II submission co-ordinator Contribute to the production of the New Ireland small company statutory statements. Completion of statutory reports for other departments incl Tax and Actuarial Assisting in the recording and reporting of the Investment Asset process for statutory and group reporting. Liaise with internal and external Auditors Review of current processes with a view of operational improvements What will make you stand out? You're a part qualified accountant with regulatory reporting knowledge. Experience working within financial reporting/ control environment. You have strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret information and identify issues that may cause accounting errors. A phenomenal teammate who works optimally in both a team and ones own.

You are highly organised with an attention to detail and an ability to meet tight targets without compromising on quality. Also a knowledge of Microsoft Office/ Excel and SAP and working towards ACCA/ACA & CIMA membership.

Wealth and Insurance is focused predominantly on the retail and SME market. We provide a dedicated range of protection, investment and pension products offering customers access to a wide range of investment markets and fund managers across its fund platform through its life company and provides access to home and car insurance through the appointments it holds with various underwriters.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in person collaboration exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
