The RolePart Time Bookkeeper 3 days per week (Flexible on Days) My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper on a permanent basis for three days per week. The client is flexible on the hours and the days that are worked.
Experience using Sage Accounts and Thesaurus payroll would be an advantage. Experience within the Hospitality Sector would be a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities:Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments.Accounts Receivable – reconciling debtor accounts and addressing customer account queries.Accounts payable – reconciling creditor accounts and preparing remittances for payment.Performing bank and credit card reconciliations.Allocation of payments.Weekly payroll – P30.Processing VAT return in ROS.Preparing accounts to trial balance.Liaising with company accountants.Other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by the business.The PersonKey Skills:2+ years' bookkeeping experience in a busy office environment.Accounting Technician or IPASS Certification.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role.Excellent attention to detail and comfortable working on own initiative with the ability to plan and control their workload.Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritize tasks effectively.Experience with Sage Accounts.For more information on this role, please contact Damian Ryan.
