Part Time Catering Assistant/Server

Job Summary: Gourmet Food Parlour are seeking a self-motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Catering Assistant/Server to join our team.
The role involves the preparation and service of hot food to customers, with strict adherence to food safety standards, including HACCP practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in catering or customer service and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The location is offsite, within an office setting in Cherrywood South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities: Serve hot food and beverages to customers efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Assist with food and beverage set u, ensuring all items are served according to established standards.
Work independently during shifts, managing the service area and ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and organized.
Strictly adhere to HACCP food safety guidelines, maintaining proper food storage, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout your shift.
Set up and clean down the service area before and after shifts, ensuring all areas are properly sanitized.
Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and requests in a professional and friendly manner.
Identify and report any food quality, equipment, or operational issues to the Line Manager.
Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
Key Skills and Requirements: Previous experience in catering, food service, or customer service (essential).
Knowledge of HACCP practices and food safety regulations (essential).
Ability to work independently , take initiative, and manage the food service area during shifts without constant supervision.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Working Hours & Benefits: Part-time position: Monday to Thursday, 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Opportunities for additional hours may be available during special events.
Training provided on food handling, safety protocols, and HACCP.
