Job description Part-Time Commis Chef/Chef's Assistant Absolute Hotel The Absolute Hotel are recruiting a passionate and innovative Part-Time Commis Chef/Chef's Assistant .
This position focuses on supporting the day-to-day activities in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities & Duties include: Assists with the preparation of all food items ensuring quality and correct quantity.
Will supervise in the absence of management.
Prepares all food items in accordance with established recipe and quality standards in a timely manner.
Inspects the cleanliness of all kitchen work stations, tools, equipment and supplies and ensures the proper food handling techniques are being followed.
Solid Knowledge of HACCP.
The ideal candidate for this position would possess: The ideal candidate must be able to work well as part of a team but also with the ambition to hold down a section on their own.
The successful candidate must have fluent English and have the ability to communicate their expectations and objectives effectively.
Must have Weekend and Evening Availability as working hours may vary.
