Adhere to service department procedures for all bookings to ensure the smooth flow and efficiency of the workshop.
Receive all incoming sales PDI'S and ensure they are booked using the Auto View booking diary and liaise with the sales department via email for expected updates and completion of times. Check for outstanding recalls on all vehicles at point of booking and receiving PDI'S (Pre-delivery inspections). Retrieve all relevant information when making a booking and record using the correct methods on each job card, e.g.
Account Detail, etc.
Plan out each customer's next mode of transport on booking, confirm bookings on internal systems and record on their Job Card.
Following the aftersales department procedures ensure all internal systems are updated and monitored regularly to ensure all customer requirements are met, including correct recording on Dealer car manager, job cards, booking appointments are made with care and don't overlap and the workshop can facilitate the workload booked on a daily basis.
I.e.
time allowed vs. mechanics on duty.
Liaise with the parts and service advisors on all incoming work to ensure the efficiency and smooth running of the workshop through appropriate communications.
Responsible for managing parts inventory based on demand and cost targets Maintain stock at a level that enable internal servicing and repair departments to complete their work without delay.
Maintain accurate records of parts and stock control system and faulty parts.
Sourcing quality parts at the right price, identify and evaluate suppliers who can offer replacement parts that match the quality of the originals Responsible for selling parts to customers, in addition to meeting internal repair requirements.
Set prices and discount levels and plan promotions to increase sales Maintain regular contact with major customers to build loyalty and ensure long term revenue.
The successful candidate must possess: Excellent PC skills - Auto view experience would be an advantage.
Previous Experience as a Parts Advisor would be an advantage Passionate about the Motor trade and the Toyota Way You must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
