Emerald Truck & Van is an Iveco commercial vehicle dealership selling and maintaining a full range of new and used vans and trucks from Ballymount, Dublin while also supporting a sub dealer network throughout Ireland. Our other group business in Northern Ireland is NI Trucks Ltd. Iveco is an international leader in the development, manufacture, marketing, and servicing of a vast range of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles selling more than 150,000 vehicles each year.
We have a vacancy for an experienced Parts Manager with a proven background in the automotive or commercial industry to join their team in Dublin.
Primary Function:
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain the quality and productivity of the department, ensuring full use of all resources and that excellent service is given to both internal and external customers. You will identify and secure new customers in line with sales targets and ensure profitable growth of the Company sales.
You will be required to: Maintain good working relationships with other staff and customers.Develop and implement sales forecast for the Parts business.Meet monthly sales targets.Liaise with the Group Parts Manager in relation to new business opportunities and development strategy for the Department.Ensure that all staff in the Parts department are fully productive and complete their work in the required timeframes.Provide management and guidance to all Parts staff.Conduct staff performance reviews together with appropriate training needs analysis for each member of the parts team.Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with requirement of internal and external customers whilst ensuring optimal balance between inventory levels and maximum turnover. Ensuring obsolescence is kept to a minimum.The Person: As a Parts Manager, you must be a confident and motivated person who is good at interacting with people and who can represent the company in a professional way.
You must have/be:
Previous experience within an Automotive/Commercial dealership, delivering excellent customer service.Enthusiasm and be a fast learner with excellent people skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good understanding of computer packages (MS Word, Excel etc.)Great attention to detail.A good multitasker with strong organizational ability.Ability to work on your own initiative.Experience of selling commercial vehicle parts or products.Experience of using the Kerridge system.Hold a recognised health and safety qualification.Please note: The above list is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.
