Position: Pastry Chef (Full Time Permanent) Location: Greenes Restaurant, Hotel Isaacs Cork The multi-award winning Greenes Restaurant are currently seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join the team.    Greenes Restaurant The food at Greenes is innovative, modern and devoted to place.
The Head Chef at Greenes recognizes the uniqueness and quality of the outstanding ingredients that are available in Cork.
Our talented team works in tandem with the best of Cork's food producers and other parts of Ireland to create a menu that's devoted to local, seasonal, foraged and organic ingredients.
Expect signature dishes of a seasonal nature, refined food with a simple food philosophy - local, fresh and staying true to each ingredient's essence.
Traditional food practices, such as pickling and fermenting, together with innovative techniques, as well as quality, sustainable meat and fish, and locally sourced organic vegetables and herbs, have transformed Greenes into the destination restaurant that it is today.
Responsibilities will include : Dessert and pastry preparation Service and presentation of all desserts and pastries Creativity and menu design in conjunction with the Head Chef Working in an organised, hygienic manner at all times ensuring the HACCP regulations are adhered to Responsible for stock control within the pastry section Assisting in other areas of the Kitchen as and when required Ensuring all special requests made by guests are met The Ideal Candidate will be: Previous pastry experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant HACCP trained Able to work in a pressurised environment Speak fluent English This role will involve shift patterns and weekend work associated with the hotel industry.
