******086 191905701 207 8990GPC Finance are working with a reputable Tier 1 Contractor in Dublin. Exciting opportunity for a Payments Team Leader to join a growing and experienced finance team. The role will primarily involve leading and managing the Payments Specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders. This will suit someone who possesses excellent organisational and communication skills, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Leading, mentoring Payments Specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.Overseeing the processing of vendor payments, payroll payments, and manual payments accurately and in a timely manner.Reviewing payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorisation before processing payments.Preparing regular reports and key performance indicators for management review.Identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to streamline disbursement processes, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency.You will have: 3+ years in a Payments Specialist position with a strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to payment processes.Excellent verbal and written communications, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity with experience in achieving deadlines, organising and prioritising tasks.Strong IT skills, experience working with banking platforms and COINS preferred but not essential.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.Remuneration & Benefits Competitive salaryPensionLife and DIS BenefitsAnnual bonus26+ days annual leaveMuch more!If you are considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Rion Gallagher for a confidential discussion.
