Job Title: Payroll/Bookkeeping Specialist A growing accountancy practice in Dublin is seeking a skilled Payroll/Bookkeeping Specialist to join their expanding management services team.
This role is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented professional looking for a flexible work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and process payroll for various clients, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare and submit VAT returns, payroll tax filings, and statutory reports.
Assist in preparing financial statements and year-end accounts.
Provide bookkeeping support and financial advice to clients.
Collaborate with the audit and accounting team to streamline processes.
Stay updated on payroll laws and accounting standards.
Requirements: Proven experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping, preferably in a practice environment.
Strong knowledge of Irish payroll regulations and tax laws.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., BrightBooks, Payday) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
