We are looking for Payroll Delivery Specialist, who will manage payroll processes for our offices, with the role based in Dublin. You'll also act as the main point of contact for both employees and external vendors regarding payroll subjects, so a strong service-oriented approach and a high sense of urgency are critical.

What you will do:
Calculate various payroll computations including salary, allowances, long term absence, overtime, new hire, leavers, prorated pay, retro pay, one time payment, pension, insurances, benefits plans etc.
Complete year-end tax and accounting processes and amendments
Support with employer taxation
Provide project support as well as Payroll delivery and data, such as: Input collation and validation, SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance, post payroll reporting and submissions.
Support in day-to-day relationship with the payroll providers in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA), Procedures Manual (as applicable) and ensuring relevant documentation is up to date, e.g. Payroll Import Templates, Work Instructions, Intranet, Shared Network Drive, Document Handling System
Shadow payroll processing for long term assignments (outbound) and short-term assignments (inbound) for tax and social security treatment/payment
To be a Tier 2 Payroll SME to ensure effective working of overall Payroll model, ensuring completion of activities
In partnership with the payroll providers, regularly review progress against tracking log report performance to relevant parties i.e. Regional Payroll Delivery Manager. Drive improvement initiatives in areas not meeting criteria
Reinforcing/monitoring the deadlines and authorisation requirements for information submitted to payroll
Following through and resolving payroll queries, following the grandfather principal for escalations
Support in all payroll related general ledger accounts and process journal posting queries
The skills you bring:
• Previous complex and large scale payroll processing
• Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably within Business Studies/Accounting/Human Resources or relevant experience within required area
• Language: Proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Presentation and communication skills
• Proactive, service-oriented mind-set
• Analytical skills and financial acuity
• Expertise in Labor Relations, Laws, and Legislation
• Passionate about following procedures and attention to details
• Solid understanding of Payroll, HR Processes and Disciplines
• Analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Secure ability to use Microsoft Applications (Excel (intermediate/advanced), Word, Outlook, MS Teams etc)
• Self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Team player with accountability and a "can-do" attitude
