Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.4 years of experience working in Finance or a People Operations team.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to manage complex operational processes, issues, and risks across multiple countries.Ability to collaborate and work with vendors and international teams.Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with management.Excellent communication skills, partnering with multiple business functions and a number of external partners.About the JobThe Finance Operations team manages Google's cash transactions on a global basis and ensures that Google's incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective, and efficient. As a member of this team, you'll find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions. You'll make processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you collaborate with our extended workforce partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple areas of the Financial Operations team.
ResponsibilitiesBe accountable for the safe delivery of country payrolls in EMEA including year-end, cycle planning, and operational execution.Partner with cross-functional teams including Treasury, HR Operations (GXO), Market HR, and Controllership to ensure our operations are on track and priority risks are managed.Ensure critical operational risks are managed appropriately using both our external BPO and Payroll Service Providers as support.Partner and coordinate with external BPO teams and in-country payroll providers to support our payroll delivery.Review operational metrics to ensure we are hitting our Service-level agreement (SLAs) and delivering to our goals.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
