We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for 12 month fixed-term contract role with the Ergo People and Culture Team.
The successful candidate will be working on the preparation and verification of monthly payrolls for our 500 employees and managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers.
This is a hybrid role, once a week in the Ergo office (Dublin 3).
Key Responsibilities: Preparation and verification of monthly payrolls. Checking, reviewing, and inputting of payroll data for accuracy, ensuring that deadlines are met. Liaising and managing relationships with outsourced payroll providers. Responsibility of processing and reconciliation of employee pension payments Responsibility of processing and reconciliation of employee Health Care BIK and payment to health care providers. Responsible for processing and reconciliation of bank transfers and funding to support payroll payment runs. Support managers and employees with payroll queries and manage outcomes. Complete registrations and audits for new hires and manage employee exits from a payroll perspective. Calculating and processing any intercompany payroll recharges. Calculate bonuses and allowances. Report on payroll expenses in compliance with the Enhance Reporting Requirements. Ensure salaries and tax withholdings comply with regulations. Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions. Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures. Managing relationships with internal stakeholders including Finance and P&C Line manager responsibility for Payroll Coordinator Experience & Qualifications required: A minimum of an Accounting Technician or Irish Payroll Association (IPASS) or equivalent qualification. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable. A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience. Proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Strong knowledge in Irish Income Tax. Customer service experience and focus on excellence. Accuracy and attention to detail. Fluency in English. Experience with international payroll is a plus but not essential.
