Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist - Permanent position, Swords, Co Dublin Hybrid working 2 days based in the office. We are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Specialist with strong working knowledge of the Irish Tax System and experience using a Time & Attendance system in order to assist in the preparation of the monthly payroll for all of our European Service centre employees. Responsibilities: Collation & processing of data required for Payroll run Review and audit of Payroll Submission of payroll data to Payroll Vendor's system in accordance with Payroll deadlines Review clockcards and rosters in Time & Attendance system (Softworks) and ensure all is completed accurately by managers within timelines specified Take ownership of the maintenance of the T&A System – including Shifts, Rosters, Employee and Supervisors Access maintained Prepare employee and payroll / benefits related payments Assist and support all Payroll Audits Liaise with HR in relation to any employee amendments Respond to employee related queries in a timely and efficient manner Prepare employee and payroll tax payments Ownership of the Travelpass and Bike to Work Schemes Perform SOX control tasks Support all internal, external & SOX Payroll Audits. Support on team projects as required. What you'll need: IPASS Qualification essential Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a fast-paced Payroll Department Knowledge of Payroll processes and procedures Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook Experience with HRIS / Payroll / T&A systems. Knowledge of Softworks T&A system is an advantage. Excellent Analytical skills High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy in a repetitive environment Competencies: Demonstrating high level of teamwork, developing and building relationships within their team and collaborating within and outside of the team Driving personal accountability, always deliver on commitments Continuously demonstrating initiative and eagerness to develop Strong customer service acumen, positive attitude and initiative Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong time management and organisational skills Flexible and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Send an up to date CV to ****** or call for a confidential chat on 01 9476359.
