Payroll Specialist, Practice, Dublin 6

Our client is a growing Accountancy Practice based in South Dublin city. They are currently seeking a Payroll Bookkeeper to join their team. Role will support a mix of clients who operate in a variety of industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join a very friendly and supportive firm, with a great working environment, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your role and have large client exposure. Role is office based Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm.
Role Responsibilities: Preparation of Bookkeeping Records including Sales, Purchases & BankingAccurate processing and coding of invoicesProcessing of staff expensesCreditors/Debtors/Bank ReconciliationsPreparing and submission of VAT returnsPAYE reconciliationsPreparing and posting month end journalsPreparation of accounts to trial balanceProcessing payroll, VAT, & RCTOther ad-hoc duties as requiredCandidate Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts positionPrevious experience in a bookkeeping/payroll role within an accountancy practice would be preferableKnowledge of the Irish tax systems and reliefsFamiliarity with Sage & Thesaurus would be a strong advantageExcellent organisational and communication skills essentialAbility to work to and manage deadlinesA very attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
