Person In Charge - Day Care Centre

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Person in Charge/Social Care Leader for a day Care Centre on behalf of their Wexford based client. Salary: €24 to €28 per Hr **This is a Fixed Term Contract covering a period of Maternity Leave. (Note: Due to expansion/restructuring of services there is a strong possibility of a permanent role in the organisation as a PIC in the future. All Contracts are with the Service). The contract commences on the 1st of October 2025. This position is open to someone with either a nursing or a social care qualification. The Person in Charge has a pivotal role to play in the professional leadership of the residential service. The main areas of responsibility for assigned designated centres are:- Person in Charge (PIC) for Residential services Regulatory Compliance Management Safeguarding Designated Officer Services Supports & Outcome Management Health & Safety and Risk Management Resources Management Staff development Professional leadership Requirements: Hold a Degree in Social Care; or Foreign Equivalent (validated by QQI) Management qualification a minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care; Have a proficient working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated regulations and Guidance; and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector. Passion for innovative solutions and process improvement Excellent analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions with a well-reasoned rationale Have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work to tight timescales.
