Role Title: Person in Charge of Works (PICW)Department: ESBReports To: Contracts Manager – Power DivisionLocation: ROIRole PurposeThe Person in charge of work (PICW) is a key member of the Project team.
The PICW is responsible for ensuring that the day's work allocated is completed safely, on time and to the standards required.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working with and leading a team.
The PICW must interface and co-operate with site management.
Principal ResponsibilitiesCarry out Permit to Work/Telemess procedure for crewEnsure Job Site Safety Plan is completed with crew for every worksite in your controlReview the Network Diagram and Outage Request before issuing Permit to Work/Telemess to Network operatorAdhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work.
