Person In Charge/Social Care Leader

Description: Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Person in Charge/Social Care Leader for a designated centre in Co Wexford.The service provides residential, respite and day services for people with a wide range of learning and associated disabilities, promoting and supporting independent living and community integration, personal development and work opportunities for people attending the Service.
There are two roles available:- Maternity leave cover- fulltime hours in the respite service for children and adults- Permanent fulltime post working Monday to Friday with rostered weekend cover in a designated centre for 7 residents.Reporting to the Senior Residential Manger the successful candidate will have responsibility for managing the service under their responsibility which will encompass management of all aspects to include provision of a high quality, person-centred service.To be considered for the role, the following criteria will apply:Meet the requirements of the Health Act (2007) Regulations (2013) with regard to the requirements of a Person in ChargeQQI Level 8 (Honours) Degree in Social Care/Social Care Studies, Nursing or equivalent is required.Recognised management course OR currently enrolled in one (desirable)A minimum of 3 years management/leadership experience in the area of health or social care.Have a strong working knowledge of the HIQA Standards and Health Act (2007) and associated Regulations and Guidance, and knowledge of national policies in the disability sector.Have an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving Licence.Eligibility to work in Ireland.For further details, please contact Catherine Hoban on:E: T: +353 21 4626138
