Amazon Web Services (AWS) Design Engineering team is looking for a highly talented and motivated Physical Security Architect (PSA) / Engineer to work with our enterprise data centre design team, designing the data centres of tomorrow to maximize the effectiveness of the physical security program. The work you do will help have a global impact to our data centers.
Key job responsibilitiesDesign and engineering of extra low voltage (ELV) security systems.Using Blue Beam and other drafting technologies to work in collaboration with the design teams to produce designs in Revit/CAD.Coordinating security requirements with all the other disciplines during the design process of a new building / campus (architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, IT)Be the Subject Matter Expert of all designs, supervise and approve all design deliverables developed by the 3rd party and in house design services teams at each design milestones of a project.Domestic and international travel up to 25% will be required.About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· BA/BS degree in Architectural, Electrical Engineering, or Physical Security or equivalent experience
· 5+ years' experience in physical security system design and engineering of large scale integrated enterprise systems.
· 5+ years' experience with one or more drafting technologies such as, AutoCad, BlueBeam and others.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Master's degree or higher in related field, PSP, CPP, PMP Certification and/or CPTED Certification.
· Physical Security Design experience in corrections, military, government, or museum environments.
· Experience living abroad, extensive travel, or demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
· Personal network of international security technology professionals.
· Experience in Revit / Bim360.
