We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Basic Grade Physiotherapist to join our team in North Tipperary CDNT, Belmont, Nenagh, Co Tipperary Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Contract Hours: 35 Hours per week
Salary Scale: €43,276 - €57,653 pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service to include assessment and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
The post holder will be required to work across a range of settings including the clinic, preschool, schools and special preschools, children's home and community settings.

The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience: a) Candidates for appointment must:
i.
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
ii.
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
AND
iii.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Register Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
2. Annual registration i.
On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
ii.
Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Be eligible to work in the state Valid driving licence for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transfer in order to delivery services across a large geographical area Desirable Criteria: · At least 6 months experience in working with children with disabilities
· Experience in conducting Assessment of Need assessments
· Experience in prescribing and monitoring equipment
· 1 year post qualification experience working in Paediatrics
· Be a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
· Experience working with children and their families
· Experience of a paediatric placement from undergraduate training
