To provide quality, client-centred Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to identified client groups at designated centres as directed by the Physiotherapy Manager

The Physiotherapy services in Carlow/Kilkenny are managed as an integrated unit across acute and non-acute sectors.

Staff Grade posts are seen as essential to maintain the overall physiotherapy service, which provides care across all specialties in St Luke's Hospital and has been required to extend its services to new and expanded on-site developments in recent years.
Chronic illness management requires care of client with complex needs and co morbidities.
Such developments include the frailty programme (GEMS service) and increasing our role in the Acute Floor and ongoing developments in Integrated Care Programs.
