Celtic Anglian Water operates a number of water and wastewater facilities throughout Ireland.
This includes the Ringsend wastewater treatment works which handles circa 40% of all waste water in Ireland.
Celtic Anglian Water also provides design, build, install and maintenance solutions to industry in Ireland and the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Welder Fitter to join a small versatile team of welder, fabricator and mechanical fitters.
Although the role will be based in Ringsend, Dublin, travel to other sites in Ireland may form part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a Mechanical Team for maintenance, repairs and delivery of new installations/capital replacement.
Maintain Engineering area to good house-keeping standard Complete all works safely in accordance with site safety policies and relevant legislation.
Complete tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on MAXIMO (site CMMS) Willingness to travel (within Ireland) where necessary Ensuring work is completed according to specifications and according to program.
Skills education required: Qualified to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – welder/fitter Good communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.
Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision Strong technical capability with attention to detail in reading drawings, templates, schematics and other drawings to correctly lay out pieces.
Certified to weld in MIG/TIG/ARC and GAS Knowledge of mechanical process plant and associated maintenance activities within the wastewater industry is desirable but not essential Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial environment Understand and be highly proficient in information systems, e.g.
Email, Microsoft Office, etc.
Demonstrate detailed understanding of H&S statutory requirements, responsibilities and obligations.
Full driving license.
