Join us as a Planner/Scheduler and play a crucial role in supporting our talented nationwide team of engineers!
In this position, you will serve as the backbone of our operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively will be key to helping our engineers deliver exceptional service to our clients across the country.
You'll tackle a variety of tasks that keep our projects on track, from scheduling appointments and managing databases to facilitating communication between teams as well as keeping a keen eye on Health and Safety aspects making sure that all PPE is in date.
By maintaining open lines of communication and nurturing solid relationships with our engineers, you'll enable them to focus on their critical work.
At the same time, you handle the logistics that keep our operations flowing.
%department%Location: %location%Type: %contract-term%Salary: %salary%Deadline: %deadline%Apply Now ResponsibilitiesCoordinate schedules and appointments for engineers across various locations.Assist in managing project timelines and deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of services.Maintain accurate records and databases related to engineering tasks and appointments.Facilitate communication between engineers, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.Prepare reports and documentation as needed to track project progress and resources.Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to maximise efficiency and productivity.Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including data entry and file management. Skills and experience requiredPrevious work experience in a planning role or a similar industry.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and organisational skills.Understanding or awareness of OFTEC Regulations, ADR Awareness, and general engineering knowledge is highly desirable.Knowledge or experience in working at heights or confined spaces processes is desirable but not essential.Familiarity with RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) or plant hire practices.
