Planning Manager Motor Sector

Our client is based in Dublin 22 and is a world leader in their field.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Planning Manager to join their team.
This is an interesting and challenging role.
Salary is circa €55k plus bonuses, car allowance, WFH allowance & health insurance as well as the opportunity to work with the best in the business.
DUTIES OF THE ROLEManaging the volume planning and forecasting process (including deliveries to customers, order intake, order bank and market / segment development)Working in close collaboration with the Supply Manager to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised while minimising any stocking risksCollaborating with the Product & Planning and Sales teamsDeveloping and coaching of the Product & Planning Executives to ensure they reach their maximum potential within the teamTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEAbility to work collaboratively as part of a diverse, motivated team – Leading by example while also demonstrating ownership of responsibilities using own initiativeVery strong attention to detail with an affinity for numbers – Maintaining accuracy and high quality of output at all timesStrong decision-making skills – Reacting in a timely and effective way to any deviations to plan or process in a fluid working environmentPersuasive communication, negotiation and presentation skills – Prior experience working with and/or presenting to senior management is desirableHigh level of commercial awareness and knowledge of the Irish automotive industry – Prior industry experience particularly in a Planning, Sales or Product role is desirable
