About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Private Client division. This role would be ideally suited to a recent graduate or someone who has an interest in starting an exciting career in Davy. In the role, the successful candidate will:
Responsibility for the management of discretionary client portfolios in conjunction with agreed client mandate and Investment Committee guidance;Significant client portfolio analysis with a strong focus on asset allocation, performance and risk drift.Acting as a point of contact between the team and Client Advisers on all investment issues.Work closely with the Investment Strategy & Investment Selection teams to ensure that core portfolios deliver on their goals.Work closely with senior members of the Portfolio Management Group on various projects.Work with IS to drive efficiencies in processes.Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
Relevant 3rd level Degree or Masters in business/finance/accountancy or engineering;APA Savings and Investments qualification or equivalent is desirable;Willingness to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation;Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint);Working knowledge of scripted/programming languages (e.g., Python and SQL) would be beneficial;Excellent analytical and quantitative skills;Demonstrable interest and understanding of financial markets and main asset classes;Strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written;High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.What we offer We offer a range of benefits and experiences to support your professional and personal growth, whatever your career stage.
