Product Management: Assist Portfolio Director and portfolio team in execution of strategic plan for Specialty products to ensure objectives are achieved. Review products performance against budget with Portfolio Director, supporting any analysis & development of remediation plans required. Continuously review existing product offerings against competitors to assess rating competitiveness, product features & benefits and broker feedback. Review potential new additional areas to expand into to maximise revenue opportunity. Review KPI's including NB conversion, retention, loss ratios, premium growth, income and performance of scheme. Report monthly progress on schemes to Portfolio Director. Client Satisfaction and Key Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with all business partners including Insurers, Brokers and Affinities. Review strategic plan and actual performance regularly with Portfolio Director and portfolio teams. Support Portfolio team including: Implementation of rate change on products. Regular review of the scheme with Insurer and co-ordinate any changes required. Review product offering features. Monitor underwriting profitability performance including loss ratios etc. Track market conditions and other external factors which may affect product. Customer Relationship Management: Build effective working relationships with brokers and trading partners by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitments. Address any issues that stakeholders may have with queries, quotes, cover issues etc. Build strong relationships with insurers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Specialty trading units across operations, sales and product. Work in a team environment with the ability to adapt and embrace change. Collaborate closely with Portfolio Director and colleagues within the portfolio team. Handle referral cases from trading teams within parameters of underwriting guide. Compliance: Comply with all management audit requirements. Work with Sales managers, Operations Director and Compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards. Requirements: APA Qualification. Strong insurance product knowledge. Confident numerate skills and understanding of key performance drivers and actions required to drive improvements. Good understanding of insurer partners and markets. Excellent commercial awareness and ability to identify areas for growth and proposition development. Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to prioritise competing workloads and adapt to unforeseen events. Compliance with the Central Bank's Minimum Competency Requirements. Able to operate from different Arachas offices as needed.
