About the role: We now have a key opportunity for Buyer (Maternity Cover) for Point of Sale (POS)/Merchandise to join our Indirect Procurement team. Reporting to the POS Procurement Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact, as a critical member of the team.
Job Purpose: Manage Procurement operations within POS portfolio.
Execute the Global sourcing strategy with the support of Manager.
Lead negotiations to optimize contract terms & conditions and development of POS materials in line with Brand Company needs.
Collaborate with business functions and key Stakeholders, to ensure deep understanding of their needs and identify optimization opportunities.
Assist Procurement managers in the development, execution and compliance of the Procurement Policy and procedures.
Key responsibilities: For POS categories, animate & roll out the procurement strategy for that Brand Company, in collaboration with the local Proximity Procurement Director, while ensuring pro-efficient collaboration with Global Procurement teams.
Implement regional and local sourcing strategies while adhering to procurement policies and considering Global Sustainability & Responsibility objectives.
Actively collaborate with Business Development, Marketing and Trade Marketing business teams to ensure delivery on business needs, embodying the new policies and posture of procurement as business partners with direct contribution to value creation.
Operations Lead negotiations to maximize value in POS procurement categories:
Manage the negotiation processes (1-on-1 negotiations, local / regional tenders...)
Negotiate the best optimal terms and conditions and other aspects of supply.
Prepare and issue timely contractual agreements in consultation with the relevant dept.
Co-lead/support the POS development process.
Manage & animate supplier relationships at regional and local level: act as key interface with regional and local supplier & build strong and privileged relationships. Involved in the annual Supplier relationship evaluation.
Resolve supplier contractual issues and claims to optimize performance of the business.
Manage demand and identify performance opportunities by challenging internal stakeholders' requests: Actively collaborate with business functions to co-build procurement strategy and leverage skills complementarity.
Establish, harmonize and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure optimization and cost efficiency.
Actively participates in the Pernod Ricard Procurement transformation: lead development and implementation of best practices, procurement tools and processes and delivery of the global initiatives.
Manage operational activity associated with the portfolio.
Co-lead/support, as relevant the POS development process.
Negotiate the best optimal terms and conditions and other aspects of supply.
Act as key interface with regional and local supplier to ensure day to day contract management.
Organize supplier feedback meetings and subsequent operational changes and summarizes levels of performance and subsequent penalties/rewards as dictated by the commercial terms of contract.
Develop relationships and take feedback from operational internal stakeholders.
Assist in establishing, harmonizing, and enforcing procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure optimization and cost efficiency.
Performance & Team management Ensure the follow-up of the relationship with suppliers, monitoring internal progress plans.
Provide Management with reports as requested including but not limited to summarising key activities and issues, governance, S&Rsavings, and improvements achieved.
Be an active member of the Procurement community: Participate in the sharing of best practices and improvement of various documents (benchmarks, guidelines, monitoring purchasing performance).
Experience & skills required: 3rd Level Qualification in administration or related discipline.
Professional Procurement accreditation.
Minimum of +3 years of experience in Procurement, preferably Point of Sale and POS NPD.
Experience in the FMCG sector and Consumer Goods is favourable.
Supply chain knowledge.
Understanding of supplier market research & trends.
Contract experience - ability to read and understand legal documents and contracts.
Strong relationships management.
Sustainability & innovation challenges knowledge.
Enjoys working in an agile environment.
French preferable but not required.
