We are pleased to offer a postdoc position in Statistics at the Data Science Center of the Barcelona School of Economics, starting around Sep 2024 (there is some flexibility in the start date). The research themes are fairly flexible, and include developing joint models for high-dimensional data integration, latent variable models, computational methods, asymptotic analysis, and applications to relevant problems in the social sciences and economics.
The gross yearly salary is 42,000 EUR. The primary location is at the BSE Data Science Center in Barcelona. The minimum term is 22 months, with the possibility of a small extension for interested candidates.
The application deadline is April 30th. Interested candidates should send a CV, a brief (1-2 pages) statement of research interests, and ask 3 referees to email a recommendation letter to ******. Applicants are expected to have a PhD in Statistics or related discipline, and a research track in Bayesian analysis.
