Your Role:Reporting to the Chief Data Strategist, your key areas of responsibility will be as follows:
Work alongside key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver reports, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.Enhance and improve existing reports and dashboards.Develop a full understanding of relevant data and the business processes that generate it.Evaluate and document business requirements, ensuring that the proposed solutions are reconciled with all business inputs.Gather business requirements using interviews, workshops, documentation reviews, business analysis and business process evaluations.Understand, validate and test business requirements with the available data.Document, design and build impactful and easily adopted dashboards.Establish standards and principles for the design of high-value Dashboards and Visualisations.Provide technical recommendations and direction on the development and implementation of reports & dashboards in adherence with the standards.Utilise data, visualisations and Power BI dashboard capabilities to deliver effective and compelling enterprise quality reporting outputs.Communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling way, using visualisation, charts, and other storytelling techniques.Continuously monitor and improve the performance of Power BI solutions.Keep up-to-date with new features and updates in Power BI and related technologies.Stay informed about the latest data visualisation and storytelling techniques and tools.The role will be Dublin-based, in a flexible working environment, with a mix of remote working from home, working from our offices in Dun Laoghaire and some onsite work at customer sites.

Qualifications and ExperienceEssential experience/knowledge:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent).Minimum 3 years experience in delivery of Business Intelligence reporting, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI.Understanding of SQL and data warehousing.Hands-on experience working with enterprise database technologies including some of the following: Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle.Be an effective communicator, both spoken and written.Demonstrate experience in gathering requirements and converting them into high-impact and practical dashboards.Strong planning and organisation skills, ability to plan and prioritise work schedules and work within agreed timescales.Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a specific ability to express ideas clearly and concisely - verbally and in writing – with a view to engaging and influencing.Minimum 2 years experience working with Cloud Modern Data Platforms.Demonstrated previous Consulting experience at a consulting or professional services firm is a distinct advantage.If you meet the criteria and are interested in applying, we would love to hear from you.
