They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their workforce. This presents an exciting opportunity involving the provision of accounting services to a diverse clientele.
RoleRecord and reconcile bank transactions using a computerized accounting software.Manage the client's purchase ledger, including posting supplier invoices to their system and reconciling them with supplier statements.Input monthly sales data into the client's system.Reconcile the monthly cash book within a computerized system, including posting cash payments and related transactions.Handle VAT return filing.Prepare Payroll using a computerized payroll software.Reconcile VAT and PAYE/PRSI liabilities within the accounting system with revenue returns.RequirementsPossess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a busy accounts department.An Accounting Technician (ATI) Qualification is desirable.Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Familiarity with debits and credits and the ability to post journals.Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.Salary & BenefitsHybrid & Flexible WorkingCycle to Work SchemeRegular Social ActivitiesIf you are an Accounts Assistant considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Marc Palecpec for a confidential discussion.
