We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst for our Pricing & Underwriting Team.
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, your role will be to support the pricing function within AXA Ireland to achieve overall financial target for the Health Business written by AXA Ireland.You will work in a team of analysts and actuaries, while your main responsibilities will include:• Support Pricing Management to deliver tasks for the Health account as assigned as part of the annual objective setting process.• Support the monthly production of pricing data / apps / reports through data preparation, reports and monitoring • Prepare analysis for account review meetings such as Profitability & sales analysis, Rate Change reviews • Support review of all pricing models Laya Pricing proposals and assumptions, corporate and benefit referral from Laya • Support portfolio management process with Claims modelling, IBNR projection and Risk equalisation scheme projections.
Your ProfileAbout the Person • Must hold a numerical degree in Statistics or Mathematics, a Masters in these areas would be beneficial but not a requirement.• 3+ year's work experience in a similar Pricing Analyst/Data Science role, ideally in Health market.• Strong knowledge of all tasks relating to area claims modelling, rating, account monitoring, account performance… • Good business knowledge of Health products (product features, rating structures, IT systems, market…) • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure/AWS • R, Python, SAS, Microsoft Office Suite, desirable • Detailed oriented, problem-solver and solution focused with proven ability to deliver, prioritising and organising work load.• Proactive 'can do' attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, making a naturally good first impressions with a natural ability to be tactful, diplomatic and professional, pragmatic and calm individual.• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team and build effective relationships with managers • Capacity to work to tight deadlines.

Based in our Dublin Head Office, you'll work at least 40% of your week away from home.As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.
