Primary Activity Therapist- Tipperary

CPL Healthcare is delighted to announce that we are working with a Children's Residential Service to recruit Social Care Workers.
We are currently looking for Primary Activity Therapists (Key Workers) to work during day-time hours in Ballyporeen, Tipperary. Using the Social Pedagogy model of care and practice, our client places a strong focus on building long-term relationships with their service users.
Based in South Tipperary, our client operates 3 Registered Children's Residential centers, whose mission is to provide a family-style environment in which the young people can safely live and be involved with the activities and programs on offer.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all care practices comply with the relevant childcare legislation and to work in partnership with parents and carers of the service users.
Implementation of care programs and occupational pursuits will be key to this role along with participation in education programmes, leisure activities, and holidays as required.
